Biography: Jason Buckingham is a teacher, clinician, adjudicator, composer/arranger, and performer. Jason is primarily a brass player, mainly euphonium, with experience on trumpet and tuba.

Jason works principally as a teacher/clinician. He has worked with High School music programs and youth organizations all over the U.S. and the U.K. as a clinician and adjudicator. He also served on the music faculty of Lamar University as an adjunct professor. Jason has also worked with top drum and bugle corps including the Blue Knights (Denver, CO), Crossmen (Newark, DE), Carolina Crown (Ft. Mill, SC), Troopers (Casper, WY) and currently the Brass Caption Head with the Colts (Dubuque, IA).

As a teacher and performer, Jason was a member in the Original London Cast of "blast!" He doubled as a player (cornet, euphonium, keyboards, and didgeridoo) and conductor. The Original Cast produced a CD released on the RCA Victor label and taped an Emmy-winning special for PBS while performing at the Hammersmith Apollo in London's West End.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Music (Music Theory/Composition) from the University of Wyoming, a Bachelor of Music (Music Business/Management) from the Berklee College of Music, and a Master of Music Education from Lamar University in Beaumont. Jason is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda National Music Honor Society.
