BIO: Max returns to the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps as the 2010 Percussion Arranger and Caption Head. Prior to joining the team at Colts, he served as the Percussion Coordinator for Spirit Drum & Bugle Corps. Max also works at the BOA Finalist Kennesaw Mountain High School. At Kennesaw Mountain, he serves as the Director of Percussion, and also works with middle school feeder programs in the area. Other teaching credits include Jacksonville State University, Forsyth Central High School, University of West Georgia, Atlanta Quest WGI Ensemble, and the 2005 BOA Honor Band in the Rose Parade.

As a performer Max was involved in many strong ensembles such as JSU Marching Southerners, JSU PASIC Ensemble, Spirit of Atlanta, Music City Mystique, and The Cavaliers. Max currently resides with his wonderful wife, Brooke, and dog, Rascal, in Douglasvile, GA.
