2010 Audition Exercises

Battery: Be prepared to perform these posted exercises for your individual audition, as well as a 30 second to three minute piece of your choice that best demonstrates your skills. Be prepared to play all of the exercises over the course of the camp weekend as a group. We will evaluate you individually, and as a part of the line. We want to see how well you adapt to new techniques, information and materials. Battery players, please bring your practice pad and sticks.

Front Ensemble: Individuals in the front ensemble should also be prepared to play all of the posted exercises as well as major scales. In addition, keyboard players will need to prepare a short two or four mallet solo or etude. Please bring mallets if you have them available.
